Designing This…

skull.gifSo I am still playing with blog designs. I have been reading like a madman on how to create my own blog, and I am slowly making headway. How can I say I am a Designer when I cannot even build my own blog! Oh well… I am sure I will get it with my advanced courses in Computer Science, but I am impatient! This blog is not my own design. It is from the 1and1 engine. Oh well… if anyone sees this let me know a good book I can read to understand this thing they call “BLOG”.

  1. I liked the last blog better, the one that looked like cardboard or something like that. Nifty. The key to a good blog isn’t so much in teh design as it is in content. (The reason I don’t have a successful blog.) You need to blog about interesting stuff. Like your post above on Seamonkeys. (Haven’t read it all yet.) If your niche is design, and tha’s a design oriented project, then write about it. Keep your readers updated on it regularly.

For the most part, no one cares what a blog looks like. That’s not what keeps them coming back.

  2. So true Rob. If that is the case I will go with a standard design so people read my posts. Thank You. Sorry about Indy.

  3. Yeah, it sucks. Here’s looking to next year. I’m rooting for the Chargers now.
